ABOUT FARID EL-NOMANY

My life's journey...

From fatherless child of divorce, mixed race, street thug to scholarship student and now successful entrepreneur and board member.

From a young Cologne and Odenwald boy to an international top management consultant and social entrepreneur.

From angry child to (mostly) well-adjusted family man of three boys. From lonely man to happily married husband.

I don't care at all whether you earn the big money later or live on a small foot, the main thing is that you lead a happy life.

This sentence expresses what I want for you and where I can really help you: get the most out of this life for you, be happy and live the best possible version of you, that's all and that's already a hell of a lot.

From fatherless child of divorce, half-breed, street thug, to scholarship student and now successful entrepreneur and board member.

From a young Cologne and Odenwald boy to an international top management consultant and social entrepreneur.

From angry child to well-adjusted (mostly) family man of three boys. From lonely man to happily married husband.

From angry child to mature business man

From a one-man management consultancy I have built up my company elccon to an excellent network with over 30 consultants, trainers and coaches.

My clients say about me that I am a strong personality with inner freedom, integrity and clarity of exchange. My authenticity, my analytical flair and my Cologne humor, coupled with my infectious lightness, make me a valued paid friend® of many top executives and managers. paid friend® means that I accompany you with all my knowledge and all my strength, like a good friend - only for money. This also means that my clients receive a respectful and at the same time unvarnished view of themselves and their issues. I show them where their own contributions lie and where their own learning potential lies. Often you don't get such a clear and helpful view because of your position in the company.

I manage international, large-scale change projects. For over 20 years I have been working very successfully with a focus on "change management" in companies, with private individuals, but above all on myself. Through constant "try & error" and wonderful companions, I have found my way. I'll tell you about it and I hope my tips will help you!

"If you yourself were not born on the sunny side of life, your urge for balance and social justice is huge."

When the wheel of fortune turns, it's time to give back and think about the people who need support. Only because I have had people in my life who have helped me selflessly, I have understood that it is my "call" to be a support for other people and to help them on their life's journey.

Throughout my life, it has been a fundamental concern of mine to make my contribution to a more just world and to give good things back to society, which has made my life so fulfilling:

For this reason, 50% of all proceeds from my paid friend® work go to my foundation.

With my advice elccon we have always supported social projects on a voluntary basis with up to 100 consultant days per year and I bear all costs incurred.

Every year 5-10% of our elccon annual profit goes to charities to support their existence.

I trained at the Fundraising Academy in Frankfurt to be able to organise donations in cash and in kind for social causes myself.

There are always people who had it harder and tougher in their childhood, but my starting package was tough enough for me. Inside me was so much anger at the world, the injustice I felt, and a lot of anger. Too much anger, for myself and also as an imposition on others. Today I call these sides, which are definitely a part of me: my dark companions, so the parts of my personality that are not good, great and beautiful, but for which I am rather ashamed, which I want to keep small and would prefer to "make away"; the parts that lie in the "dark".

Over time I have learned to integrate these parts, to accept them and to free myself from shame. Unfortunately, this did not happen from one moment to the next, "good things take time", and so my path is in parts a journey, with successes, setbacks and above all with a lot of perseverance.

Always get back up when life knocks you down - no alternative if you want to live a happy life.

What I have done. In one sentence: inner work!

By inner work I understand the intensive occupation with my inner personality parts, which give me (and others: work colleagues, spouses, friends, own children) more trouble than joy in life.

What have I done specifically? Some personality seminars, holotropic breathing and above all meditations again and again. Quietness and inner reflection; looking and deciding "Where am I not the person I want to be"? Where am I not the loving father I desperately want to be to my children? Where am I not the faithful and reliable husband I desperately want to be to my dear wife? Where am I not the good and reliable friend I desperately want to be to my fellow man?

Where do I deviate from my own desired image so seriously that I decide where there is a need for change? Where am I not the person I want to be?
